Is my pin pulling or is my joint protectors f***d

do you screw your shaft in the butt and never get a tight feeling?

I had this problem once, my guess is that the glue between your butt and the pin has worn out, and the pin is pulled away from the butt, the more you try to screw the shaft in, the more it pulls your pin out.

I had to send my cue to Ryan Theewen of ratcues for repair, this is an easy fix.
 
Well I just got the cue and it does get tight. but I'm afraid its pulling out it makes a Lil popping noise when it I tighten it down to shaft most m Stacey cues the pin goes all the down this one there's a gap so idn what to think.. A lot of money for something that may need fixed..

If the you screw the shaft in and get to a point you cant get any tighter, I think the pin is still fine.

previously with my cue, the more I screw in, the more the pin is pulled and I could not get a tight feeling.

did you notice the pin is pulled higher than before? or just compared it with other cues?

anyway you should really get it examined.
 
if u seethe pic with the joint protector see the gap thats how far the secound shaft goes on there def is something wrong . idn if the guy i bought it from tryed to fix it and thats all hecould do idn butillbe seeing mikestacy in less than a weeks time i justthought idpost it andsee what u all thought.. wheres that howard the dick anyways...lmao

yep I can see that in the pics, looks exactly like my cue.

but you said you can screw it to one point and it get tight, right? Mine could not, anyway it was an easy fix and I was not charged by Ryan also.

It's great you can work with Mike Stacey himself on this.

thanks for the input yes it gets tight but it seems as if i could keep tightening it.. but ill find out soon anyone looking to buy a mike stacy should this thing hits like no other...
