Hey folks,

I'm headed to Milwaukee on business this week and wondering what are the better rooms to play in?

Thanks,

Serge

Romine's High Pockets is a pretty good room. I am headed to Milwaukee for a conference Saturday-Wednesday, so I will most likely go there a couple of times.

There is also Master Zs in Waukesha, they have Olhausens though, and a couple 7 ft. Diamond quarter tables. Romines has all GCIII 9 and pro-8 footers, a few coin op Valleys up front.

is Lenny's Wisconsin Billiards any good? It's a lot closer to the part of town I'll be in.

I generally don't like parking my car in that part of town, though I've been meaning to check it out for some time now. If you're staying at the Ambassador, it's only four blocks away. Other than that, the above advise is pretty solid. If you're ok with 7' Valleys, you might check out Landmark Lanes. It's kind of a dive, but they have eight tables between two bars and it's a pretty cool part of town.

Lenny's is actually the original Romine's, it was always more of an old school pool room, lot of gambling and tourneys held there. Once Terry built the new place, he sold that place to a patron and Lenny renamed it after himself...

I played many tournaments there, and was also the first place I ever played 3 cushion. But when I lived there I hadn't been there in years, as mentioned not in a great area of town (not horrible though because of Marquette) and I have no idea what state the tables are in these days. But Romine's on 27th is only 10 - 15 minutes away with good equipment and you'll have a good experience.
