Moori vs Kamui

I got into a thread a couple of weeks ago, asked the question about Moori hard vs Kamui hard--my local cuemeister has Mooris. I had the Moori installed and it is excellent--for me--that is.

I think tips are like cues--what one likes is totally subjective and personal preference. Having said that, I think the attributes are describable.

Also, I think there may be differences between individual tips from the same manufacturer.

Qualifiers out of the way, the Moori hard tip I have has a feel that is just slightly softer than the Kamui hard tips I had before, but it delivers a solid hit capable of monster draw and excellent spin--and I have not miscued once.

For what it's worth.

Here is my take on comparing a Moori Medium to a Kamui Medium tip. I have played with both. The Moori does indeed draw and spin the ball better. The Moori also gives a few more miscues. And the Kamui held it's shape better. I like the play of the Moori a little better, but like the consitancy and non-mushrooming, and non-miscue qualities of the Kamui better.
