Specifically for the points and the butt sleeve...(the cue I'm considering has a birdseye forearm to go with that setup).
Opinions? Characteristics comparison to other woods?

Pau Ferro (Caesalpinia Echinata): Also known as Bolivian Rosewood or Morado. It is heavy, brownish-orange wood with dark black stripes.
