More CTE Center Cue Ball Part 3

Another very well done and described / explained video.

If you could do a video, explaining any tips or thoughts on how you determine when looking at any shot, whether you would use an inside or outside pivot.

I appreciate you continually doing the videos.

If you currently have any experience pocketing balls, you can tell 95% of the time just by observing it. From the visuals, do you need to hit the ball thicker or thinner to make it? That answer tells you which way to pivot easily.

Neil, I really appreciate your tips and advice.

I edited my reply, due to Stan posting his excellent videos on rail shots and determining the correct pivots.

Neil, its probably just me, but there might be others that it would help also.

Sometimes I'll look at a shot and not be sure if it's an inside or outside pivot. And it always seems to happen at a crucial time. For the most part I can determine which it is, but I'm just trying to find out any ideas or tips that might make it easier to tell which it is.
I've got both videos and watched every you tube Stan's made, and I know it works, I'm just trying to find out any info that I can.

That's what I was giving you. Please read again what I wrote. I had the same problem initially, and someone else gave me that tip, and it worked for me. So, I passed it on to you.

I will try and put something together over the next few days that can help you along.

Your very welcome. And the you tube videos you do, are VERY helpful to me and I don't want to speak for anyone else, but I would think that many others feel the same way.

If I could make another suggestion, a video that would be appreciated would be one that has the ob on the rail and the cb is not on the rail but anywhere else in any location. And running the ob's down the rail with an explanation whether the pivot is inside or outside and if your using any English.

Thanks for the effort you put into you your tube videos.

Excellent !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brilliant piece of work!

Another wonderful instructional session. I appreciate it very very much.
I've noticed that business of the 'wrist twist' helping out on some CTE work but I've learned enough about this to NOT TRY TO FIGURE OUT THE "WHY".
That is what (I think) causes all the ruckus about this method of aiming....too many people waste time in dwelling on the "why" part.
When they just accept it on pure blind faith, that's when it starts to kick into gear and the balls start dropping better. I could give a flip less about the "why".....I just know it works and that's good enough for me.
I've always tried to choose something that works over and over for another guy and then gave it an all effort to do the same thing for myself.
I bought your DVD's a while back and I made up my mind from the outset, that if it worked for you, then I could make it work for me. Besides, I paid good money for the tools......let the tools work for me, I kept telling myself.
Believe me it was tough to do. Especially the "perception" part, but I literally FORCED myself to do it over and over and over and over....now, 6 months later it seems so simple to execute.
It's still real tough when that cueball is jammed up in the framework of a pocket on the rail and the object ball is a mile down there on the other end of the table and it's the money shot. But, it's better than before...the percentage of pocketed balls is going up. To me, that is progress.
Thank you for continuing the education process you're doing here.
Let the naysayers howl......who cares what they think, anyway.

I am reminded of this old adage==> Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not: the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.
