Are you trying to say Team Canada would be the best? 
border battle
We (canada) do have a mosconi-ish "border battle" vs US every year.
We lose every year, just like Europe
. But with Alex playing for Canada, and Salvas, John Horsfall, Alain Martel, Eric Hjorliefson, at least we're have a chance. US sends top players such as Archer, JJ, morris, earl, corey, etc.

Since US always beats Canada and usually beats Europe, US vs. Phil would be interesting matchup. Or how about winner of mosconi vs. winner of Phil vs Taiwan.

The Mosconi Cup is described as 9-Ball's version of golf's Ryder Cup - a contest purely between Europe and the USA. That is why the Mosconi Cup does not involve anyone else other than teams from Europe and America.
I would love to see a tournament along the lines of, I believe, golf's "President's Cup", which is a USA vs The Rest Of The World tournament, but possibly with one wee change - Asia vs The Rest Of The World. What do you all think, and who would you have in your hypothetical teams?
