Most popular weight for a snooker cue?

I visited a snooker club recently and noticed that their house cues were all 20 oz. or heavier. I'm not sure if it was just the club's inventory, or perhaps that snooker players prefer heavier cue weights.

I'm curious and interested to know your reasons.

Most snooker players i know tend to have cues between 17-18oz. My snooker cues is a shade over 18oz.

I have 16 and 18.
Use the 18, just a better cue. Or maybe it is just because it is the newer toy

13 oz is what I prefer.
