I am selling a Paul Mottey shaft. It is straight, 3/8 X 10, 12.5 mm, with an ivory ferrule. Just refinished by Paul. It has plain black ring work. $120 plus shipping from Illinois.

thanks for your prompt reply and sorry if i didnt specify clearly. i was asking about the diameter of the joint of the mottey shaft in question.. this is important if i want to match the shaft to another cue butt nicely.
Raist,
What type of cue are you going to use for this shaft? Knowing this information will certainly help determine if the shaft will line up properly for you. For instance, if your cue is a McDermott I would locate a McDermott cue and see how it fits. Today I will find a micrometer to measure the width at the joint. If there is anyone out there who knows the width of a Paul Mottey 3/8 x 10 at the joint, please advise. Thanks to you Raist and thank you to anyone who is able to assist.
Respectfully,
George
Go to a hardware store and get some digital calipers you can probably pick one up for $20. Mottey will most likely be .8 something! could be anywere from .800 to .860 probably in the 40-60 range.
Flushman,
Thank you for the information. I was told Mottey cues are .840 at the joint. Hope this helps Raist and anyone else interested in the purchase of this shaft.
Take care,
George
