Moving to Arkansas

I'm moving to Fayetteville, AR in a couple weeks. There's a couple poolrooms in Fayetteville called Billiards Palace and The Green Room. That's primarily where I will be playing. I might also frequent Beezer's Billiards in Russellville, AR. Are these home rooms to any AZer's out there?

I played at Beezers for a long time - good people there and a few good players. They have nice league system and also host several nice tournaments throughout the year. Some of the guys there like to gamble a little - not much though. For better action head down the road to Monroe to Ride The Nine billiards. The owner Craig likes to play one pocket and will bet a little bit.

I never found anything worthwhile in Fayetteville as far as pool went. One bar table tournament at some place that I forget the name of was pretty cool and drew some good players. Otherwise the pool rooms were pretty run down with no real action. Might be different now.

I'm afraid you might be right about Fayettville. I went up there a couple times to visit and action was almost non-existent. Where I play now in TN has several players with respectable strength, when I move I can already see my game dropping a ball or two 'cause of lack of competition.
