Hi Matt, the cue is not new by any means. It's about 6 to 9 years old, tops. The cue sold for about $1,050.00. If built today, it would sell for about $1,350.00.No numbers and it's not a production cue.We built many cues, but were never a production cue shop.

Hi Matt and the rest of the "BLUD" team. Hope you all do well with my cues. Some folks just don't understand "WHY" the blud's hit so smooth, clean and deliver the ball so good.
thanks for being part of my family.

blud i have had 4 of your cues and a cue store i used to work at sponcered me and I always got your cues they hit great but the only thing that drove me nut s is I had to have the ferrules reglue on every one this was 2 years ago and reason for this happening not realy and big deal because it was cheap to fix but was wondering if maybe there was some bad glue out a few years ago.

Hi Matt, yes we did have a bad batch of glue. [To big of a bottle of glue]. We found out the hard way. Not only have we have changed to a better glue, we now buy our glue in smaller containers, so it won't good bad. Larger bottles of glue seems to go bad very quickly. No more problems.
thanks my friend

Yes, I've encountered this as well. Not only with glue but with Nelsonite also. I had a 5 gal. can of Nelsonite go bad after about a year. When I re-ordered I asked the manufacturer what the shelf life was and he said it was indefinate. I explained that I had 1/2 of a 5 gal can go bad (it kind of curdled, looked like puke, gross!), I was told for it to last that way it had to be decanted. If there was 1/2 a can of Nelsonite, there was also 1/2 a can of air, which speeds the spoiling! In the case of Nelsonite, if it's broken into gallon containers that are filled up, theoretically, it will last quite a while. I know that most adhesives, especially the cyanoacrylate (super glue) vareity have a shelf life, and hold up much better if kept refrigerated, but air in the containers may also contribute to the glue going bad prematurely.

just more hot air!
