thanks lisa ..thay look good ..

I thought the prices were all pretty reasonable. The Thomas, Engles, and OnQ cases were not listed in the 'Cue Cases' search in Billiards, but under 'Cues'.

I am hoping to run across a 1x2 Thomas case in burgundy with the Friction Fit top and storage pouch in the lid. I am thinking I may just have to order, but cannot seem to get Ron via email. :(

My Elephant Ear Engles has what he calls a False top storage ( just big enough for a piece of chalk and a tip shaper and maybe a piece of scotch brite if you carry those things) and still acommodates a 58" cue as well as his "double o-ring top" that is the epitiome of friction fit and moisture restistance. I must say I looked at the Thomas with the inside storage ,seemed to be an imbalance to the case with the extra tall top, no so with the Engles. I had seen a early Engles with the inside storage on E-bay about 4 years ago and thought it was ingenious. Later I learned that Ann gore had a top storage that had the slip joint like the main case, it had 2 locks on the top. Mr. Engles is easily reachable through his e-mail address- ewwcc@aol.com. I think one or more of the retailers here carry his cases.
