Help warped slate

Hey guys wondering if someone can help me out.

The slate on my table seems to be bowl(concave) shaped. It has a three piece slate. The balls roll away from both of the long rails. This is not terrible but it is noticeable. When you slow roll a ball towards the hole it may roll an inch or so. Is this because of the way it is shimmed or is it something that I will just have to live with?

I got some used Somonis from the local pool hall and put it on myself. I did a pretty good job for my first time. But now all the little things are much more noticeable without the nap to hide behind. The table came with mali.

Tear it back apart. Use a flashlight on the table surface without the felt.

You can get by with the carpenters level, you just need to use it correctly.

Without the felt on the table, set your slates (your table looks like a 3-piece) and use a flashlight shining at the base of your level and look at the light shining through the bottom of the level. Use this Wei table example of where to lay your level when checking with the light.

START(
%Pg9V9%Ur0D8%VD0Z5%Wq9Z5%XD3D4%YZ4Z8%ZD0E2%[r7E8%\[7[2%]D3Z2
%^[4D0%_[9Z9%`d9V2%ar1N6%bZ1D5%cO6I7%dD5O2
)END

Once you can lay your level on bare slate and not see any light coming from under it, now it's time to put on the felt.

Doing it this way will give you a start to make your table better to play on. I'm sure others will give ya some tips to make it even better.
