My Break - WEI Table

ok, last night i had about 10 minutes to kill before it was basically time for me to quit. so i decided to rack and break the balls, see what might happen. i always complain and complain about getting no chance to run out off of the break, and last night was no exception. the following were basically the spreads i got, and you can see, of course, i basically had no shot. the last spread i could have possibly cut the '1' ball in the side pocket, but only at the expense of completely losing the cue ball it was so thin.

now i know you are going to say thats just 3 racks, just one night. but like i keep saying, this is the way things go for me 95% of the time or more.

hope this WEI Table thing works, wasnt really sure what i was doing.

WOW!!
You must be very frustrated to post your game sucks 2 days in a row.
Everyone goes through it from time to time. Its all in how you manage it.
So what those breaks were junk, you have the option to roll out (USE IT).
If my ball making ability goes south, I will use that time to sharpen my safety play. I suggested yesterday that you just quit totaly for two weeks, no playing but watching and reading are incouraged. You might be suprised at how much you can't wait to get back into the pool hall. That will spark your interest again and then maybe you will be a bit more focused as well.

What if you took ball in hand after each break and try to run those tables? What would your runout percentage be? Try to play the ghost instead.

In the 3 layouts you provided, the balls are spread out fairly well and the cue ball is around mid-table so that's a positive. Since your first shot on the 1 isn't the easiest shot to shoot, you can always push out to the most difficult location on the table.

The break in 9-ball is one of the most important aspects of the game. If you truly feel like your breaking game needs work, then why not get an hour of professional instruction and find out how you can improve your breaking game? This will also improve your confidence in yourself too.

Where are you breaking them from and what speed?
