Seems I have less cues every day now.
Here is a look! The first cue is my player!!!
MIKE COCHRAN 8 point custum splice veneer cue
The splice actually goes into the handle!
Please excuse the dust and smears on the cues I didn't notice it until I looked at the pictures!

Tim Scruggs Hoppe cue Custom spliced 4 point veneer cue and a sunset veneer Mop Scruggs veneer cue!
The splice actually goes into the handle!

And a old titlist conversion cue!

I also have two Rick Howard break jump cues one has his custom pin in both positions!
I don't have pictures of them but they are great!
Well I will try to get down to My playing cue and a break jump but Getting half way there was hard maybe pearing down to two or one cue won't be too hard.

I say that but there is a purple heart veneer cue on Timi's web page that is making this whole pearing down idea very difficult. I won't even mention what the forearm is! :)

Happy holidays
And enjoy the nothing fancy cues here! I do!

My Cues

Nice collection Nick. These guys "Scruggs & Cochran" do real fine work, maybe they will be famous cuemakers someday!

Have a good Thanksgiving Nick; I'am, just bought an 8 pound can of "SPAM" at the grocery store. Going to tell the family to eat hearty. JP :)

Very nice collection.
At first, I looked for the more exotic cues with lots of work.
Now my interest in cues appear to be simpler in design and detail.

THNX for posting the pictures,
Myron

Thanks gentleman

JP seems you are the only one that didn't get a case for a early Christmas present! Sorry I didn't get a chance to meet you and when I was in the D.C. area this summer!
It still amazes me who many people never heard of Mike Cochran!
So here are some examples of his work after all he has made all Timi's blanks for over 20 years now!
With his cues and Timi's cues both back ordered for almost a year now I know those two are staying very buisy!
Thanks
Nick

Nick I'm curious, any significant difference in the way the Cochran plays/feels vs a "Scruggs"? Really pretty work, like the clean sharp points.

Its just so pretty!

When Timi and Mike met me and my wife I told them how I always wanted a cue with veneers kind of like my wifes eyes. And believe it or not that is what knocks me down when I look at this cue. This cue more like a work of art. When I see it I think about her.
If you ever get your hands on a Mike Cochran Custom Cue you won't want to put it down!

Is that a "yes" or "no?"

:) :)

It's obvious why you like the looks of the cue....it's pretty sweet!

But does it PLAY any different than a Scruggs?

More responsive cue!

As little as Scruggs could ever need it the Cochran cue has a very forgiving flex that helps you do more with less.
I am more spoiled by the day.If you get one you will understand!
