this is my first craig peterson........

birdseye nose with four ebony points spliced into spliced, fiddleback channels points, lined in black veneer.

That is gorgeous...

I do love the detailed point work.

Its craftsmanship like that that shows how much someone LOVES their work.

craig is the standard by which i measure all other cuemakers. the extremely limited and archaic tools that he used makes them even more astounding.

WOW. I've always been a fan of Petersen's work. I hope to one day own my very own. Thank you so much for sharing, its very rare to see examples of his work.

what pool room do you hang out in?
 
near the top of the nose, just below the phenolic joint ring is a small(1/8") darkish blur. it is an iron ore stain. it's soft and swirly, so it looks more like a darker part of the birdseye figuring. craig wanted to take it back but the cue was so beautiful, i convinced him to let me keep it.
