As far as a review of the Davis built blank this cue is Thulya burl points into ebony nose with ivory hoppe ring and ivory joint and radial pin. Well i have two hoppe/titlist conversions one being purpleheart and stainless piloted joint and the other rosewood with water buffalo radial pin joint. The Davis blank cue i would say plays rt in between the feel of the converted titlists. It has a nice forward balance with great feel while shooting and i must say John Davis points are getting really good. The cue maker did a great job putting cue together points are very even and i love the taper of his shaft. The above link also has pics of cue.
