My Friends Chevillotte......

Gorgeous!!! Is that a “Europa Master” model? Definitely the type of set up that will make the wifey wonder if she’ll ever him awake again, unless she looks into the garage or billiard room.

Where do my SoCal carom buddies go for carom billiards?

The lights look like a “Diamond style” set up. I don’t see anything on their site as far as lighting systems.

I don't play much anymore and when I do it's usually on this table but for many years North Hollywood Billiards (aka Tiff's) was the spot. Frank Torres was the desk man, Al Gilbert was a fixture, and most of the action was there.

That room has changed hands repeatedly and I think George Aronak (one time Pres. of the Billiard Assoc. I think) and many of the other old timers from Tiff's now play at the Burbank Elk's Club, very close to Burbank Airport.

I think the light box was custom made to fit his older Brunswick and only the "diffuser" was added with the table. As for the model, I am unsure of that as well. If my memory serves me (which it rarely does), I think this table was used for a World Cup event in Vegas and he bought it from Chevillotte there, so that he didn't have to pay shipping from Europe.

I'm kinda the wrong guy to ask these days, perhaps you could start a thread and ask, prob'ly some current players in this forum from socal.

Good luck,

Joe

Hi Joe,

Thanks for all the info. You are correct in that I need to start a thread and introduce myself to the forum. I’m planning on doing that the next couple of days.

Thanks.
