Tom is a great guy. Infact I can proudly say that I helped build this collection with him, as did Max06. His pool room, and his *wifes* bar and grill are great places to hang. I helped run a tournament for him in late October and it was a great event. As you can tell from his collection he is a traditionalist, his pool room also reflects this by having some of the best conditioned early gold crowns you will ever see. He has a back room complete with a poker table.
His collection started out as Palmers. Infact we met when he purchased a Bullet series cue from me. Then as time progressed he asked for help upgrading his collection. So we started selling off some of his Palmers, we sold some gorgeous South Wests, and then started upgrading. We sold him his first Gus Szamboti, a 4 window cue, we sold him the second Gus with the black, red, black white veneers. We sold him 2 Barry's, some Motteys, and the centerpiece Balabushka. He has a few items not shown, but all in all its a great collection.
One thing that Tom will attest to is that on almost every cue I sold him, when he sold it, he made money on the cue. This speaks volumes about our ability to know the market. Whether it was a Palmer, a Hercek or a South West, he made money. This helped him upgrade his collection at a more rapid pace.
