I played in a barbox tournament in Quebec City this past weekend and got stuck with a fluked safety against me, I am solids and this is the shot I played...a little one rail masse to pocket the 3 ball. I hooked my self after making the shot and narrowly missed making the 1 ball three rails in the same pocket. Rarr. But the 3 was fun!

Watched Buddy Hall pull that shot against Keith Mcreedy in a Billiard Club Network video on Youtube.com. He made it look simple!

I did end up winning the game and it was a teams event, we placed 7th/8th (64 teams).
 
I made a shot very similiar to that a few weeks ago. A little luck always figures into those types of shots but it's awesome cool when you pull one off aint it? :cool:

good shot, most would not even see that shot, and seeing the shot to begin with is half the work.
 
good work, team events can be pretty exciting, especially when your sweating your teammates
 
To be fair, I was there and watched this shot... I think it was a lot tighter then diagrammed above.. It was sick. Poolsponge carried us all weekend with the exception of one match... Great times had by all!

Poolsponge, you should also diagram the crazy long bank that you kicked in the white ball on... that was nuts.... Again, just a shot that you just don't see when you are looking at the table.
 
You HAD to remind me of that one eh Snorks! I lost sleep!

I did try it again after and realized that I just needed a bit more bottom and the CB wouldn't have intercepted the 4 ball.

Same match as the rail first masse the guy I am playing completely missed his shot and this is how he left me....you guessed it, I am solids.:rolleyes:

We were getting ALL the rolls.:p
