Congrats! Steve makes an awesome playing cue.

my Lomax cues dont match, thats a real nice set. I think Lomax had a good plan when he started building sets of cues.

His jump cues are the best jumpers I ever used period.

My Lomax player cue is triple pretty, I wrote up a long story about it, It took 2 tries and some adjustments to try and get it to hit like my Black Boar(daily player), Steve managed to get it closer than any cue I own to my daily player. The boar is too fancy to travel with and with the ivory I'm not keen to travel to Europe with it. So the Lomax is my road cue. The points on it are too damn pretty too. I gotta post pics.

I sure am happy to see you got a full set of Lomax cues, you really have something there. And in 5 years if you play everyday they will be even better as they age. Lomax cues are the best hitting cues for the $$$ IMO.

Sugartree are too but they are hard to find-but equally good.

Congrats,
eric

Eric,

Thanks for your kind words. The only problem is I now have no excuse for my playing. By the way, the final touch is I just ordered a set of matching joint protectors, ebony with sterling silver rings. It just doesn't get any better than that. :)

outstanding!

Bump this set to the top where they belong.
Steve is one of the best and IMO best bang for the buck.
this set says it all, know you are happy.

Wow the JP's are gonna be great.

Yes, they will be the nuts. And you are right about Steve starting to make matched sets. I think it will increase his business even though I'm not sure how much he needs that what with his jump cue sales. I believe the combo jump/break cue is a thing of the past. A 3 cue matched set is the ultimate.

Who made your J/p's ?

Steve will be doing the JPs for me. I still do not have them at this point. I think he doesn't usually do custom JPs but when I begged and whined (two of my strong suits in life) he acquiesced. :)

I am adding a 4th cue to my set. I hate the rake and I hate the push on extensions. So, I have talked Steve into making me a 75" (17" longer) matching cue for those shots that would require either a rake or an extension. Will take pictures as soon as I get the cue. This may also work on the new concept of the 10 foot table after the TAR match between SVB and Earl.
