I just picked this TS cue up this week. Cocobola butt with 4 sharp cocobola points into a highly figured birdsye/curly maple forearm. Has ebony rings, silver rings and black/white (ivory) stitching. SS joint, ivory ferrules with a leather wrap. Hits Sweet....simple design but a beautiful cue ;)

That is a real beauty!

Where do you play in Bellingham these days? I lived there for about 6 months... from Sept 1995 until Feb of 1996... I took video of the Chiccetti's (how the heck do you spell that?) tournament... Have matches showing Dan Louie, Tom Chiccetti, Stan Touranteau (sp?), John Bear, Paul Potier, Frenchie, John Horsefall, and Rich (the guy that plays in the Panama Joe hat), etc... Had a fun time playing with the guys there, but found the bar action in town to be... not that friendly....

I still dream about Chuckanut Drive in the fall... cruising along in a convertable... over a winding road wrapped in a multicolored layer of gold and orange and red leaves.... the wind in my hair! Dang, I love the NorthWest!!

Oh! I also loved this little pool place... they only had two tables up on the third or fourth floor of a building in Fairhaven... the walls were brick and the table lights were industrial looking... Loved that place! Please send me photos of that place if it is still there! I want to design my home room to look like that!

Maybe you know Chico and Suzie... there was also a scary guy that played around there with a purpleheart Porper cue... John... somebody... played great, but I was too scared to ever take money from him....

Nice cue...I been trying to get a Scruggs...but keep putting it off.

Bellingham, WA -- Pool Halls

Tom's name is spelled Cicchitti. Tom & Deb Cicchitti's Pool Hall is no longer open -- unfortunately.

The place you remember down in Fairhaven went out-of-business in 2007....can't remember the name but, it was a cool place overlooking B'Ham Bay and the San Juan Islands.

It's a tough rackett making $$$ with a straight-up pool hall here in B'Ham. We have a new place called Kendricks -- it's very nice place -- but it's smoke free and no alcohol served -- I don't think they will survive either!?

My wife and I own a place called the Village Inn Pub & Eatery on NW Ave. here in B'Ham; we sponsor about 30% of the teams for the local Whatcom County League for 9-ball and 8-ball. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner; have a full service bar; pulltabs, video games, live music and four Dynamo 4x8's.

I just started taking some pool lessons from Tommy last week....very interesting guy -- he used to tour around doing the trick shot thing with Mike Massey; his wife Debbie used be on the WPBA tour.

Cicchitti's was one of the most popular tournament venues here in the NorthWest....everyone misses it!

Chuckanut is a cool drive -- Here's a pic of B'Ham to refresh your memory ;)

Ken:

Thanks for the nice photo, my friend! Cool that Tom is giving you some lessons. He knows a thing or two on the table and is friends with many short stops and pros. He is a big Richard Black fan and so we had that in common when I lived up there. Love the photo of Mt. Baker. My apartment was in the brown and white building about 1/4" to the left of center and 1/8" above I-5.

I have some exciting news... I may be visiting Seattle and Vancouver for my 2006 summer vacation, and I will stop in to say "Hello!" and shoot a few. I will let you know as the time approaches.

B'Ham visit

Let me know when your'e going to be in town....I'll try to get Tommy to join us for a few games!
