So I finally was able to pick up and shoot with my new cue for a day. Hits and looks great. Had to give it back so he could have someone laser his name on the butt. The maker is relatively new and I have known him for over two years. His name is Larry Schavè out of Vancouver WA.
The cue has a beautifully grained mexican cocobolo forearm and buttcap. The forearm points are 6 alternating hi-lo with the tall points being maple/ebony/curly maple and the short ones being maple/ebony. Matching points on the buttcap facing downward witht he exception of birdseye maple for the white points for a total of 30. Great ringwork with checkered ebony/maple rings. Followed by silver rings and then black/white/black rings on either side. Two matching shafts. The cue is 19.5 oz and 59" long with Moori tips. 3/8-10 pin to wood shaft joint hits solid.
