I ordered this cue last year, from Tim and Mike....and asked for a completion time right around Valley Forge. The cue was RIGHT ON TIME...but I wasn't (I wound up having to be in and out of town on other business for a few weeks).

I went up to Tim and Mike's place on Saturday, and picked up one of the nicest player's cues I've ever owned. My design request was simple...but they turned it into a fantastic piece of work with some pretty fantastic wood grain and detail. Perfect player's weight for me at 19.3oz, and balanced perfectly as well.

THANKS MUCH TO TIM AND MIKE FOR ALL YOUR WORK. It was fun to be up there again, and shoot the bull with you and your buddies!!! :) :)

I've got every intention in the world of holding onto this one. Made to my specs, and it came out perfect!!

(please....oh, please.....let this one stay with me, oh cue gods!!!)
 
I'll take 5-1 odds that the cue is gone within' 6 months. (Talk about a lock)

Your Boar is packed up tightly and ready for launch. Will have it at Fedex first thing tomorrow morning and get you the tracking number soon after.

We will definitely play soon. I hit some this weekend and played horribly. Good stuff.

Hmmm.....I'll have to honestly consider it. After you let go of that Black Boar titlist there is no telling what you might do.
 
mark, that is a real nice scruggs cue. and i'm sure you have every intention of keeping it (see justis case thread). but seriously, how long do you think before it goes??? just kidding, this is the kind of players cue, not collectors cue, that you very well may end up keeping (but i still won't rule out a sale down the road).

Mark...glad you like buying cue's, wish I had the money to spend on them myself. Living vicariously is kinda fun though.

I would go with Matt on this one as well.
Only one way to win some money around here is to back a sure thing.

Back to the regularly scheduled thread: that is a very nice piece of maple you go there. I would love to see that one.
