last night i decided to practice with my old Cuetec Cue, the first halfway decent cue i ordered several years ago. believe its Model #99263, the black starlight with the silver prongs. not sure what tip it currently has, think it might be a LePro.
funny, i shot pretty darn well with that cue. hadnt played with it for a long time, but it seemed to get the job done for me. i think it cost me around $125 when i bought it brand new years ago, much less than my Nova, Jacoby, and Chad Carter Custom Cues. it has that old fiberglass (i think?) coated shaft too, its not the SST shaft or the Thunderbolt shaft either.
didnt actually break any racks and try and run out with this Cuetec, think i might try that tonight, see how i do. who knows, perhaps before long it will be Allison, Earl, and DCP being sponsored by Janet Shimel!
any of you other posters ever have similar experiences with cues?
