My Terbrock Sneaky review

I'll have pics up, but wanted to write a small review first...
Its a plain sneaky, black rings around the joint, black butt cap, a very nice piece of goncola alves into straight maple.

This thing hits like a sledgehammer, It may the stiffest hitting cue I have ever owned. It has a great solid feel and really like the taper for the shaft.

I may have found the best cue for the money for taking out to the bars or just shooting around, like I said its a plain sneaky...which when I thought about it, I have had sneakies by joss, Jerry Oliver, Viking, and Meucci, and this hits great.

A short note..I did have to take the original tip off, it was way too soft and not the hit I was looking for, so I put a compressed Triange, and much better.

I have a John Spitz, full splice sneaky with veneers on order, so I guess I must admit... I love them sneakies.

Jerry is an amazing player (top level player in St. Louis) & knows what a cue should play like. He was a carpenter when he was younger, so he knows wood working. Your cue should hit great!

I have one of his original shafts on one of my cues in the basement, and he has really worked to develop the perfect taper over the years. His newer taper hits stiffer than his earliest work as Jerry used to play with Meuccis and transitioned to a stiffer hit. The stiffnesss of his new shafts is right there with all of the best cue makers depending on the diameter.

I was in a position to get to see him start working on repairs when he owned his pool room and then, transition into cue making. His inlay work and designs keep getting better and better. IMO, his website shows his older works. His newer stuff is on another level. Attached are a couple of recent pics.

If I wasn't so attached to my Schick, I would be playing with one of Jerry's cues.

Glad to hear you enjoy your cue!
