My visit to the IPT

Hey All,

I just returned from the IPT tournament down in Orlando, FL. I got down there on Wed., and when I walked into the arena I was just blown away. The tournament was in a huge ballroom with lighted columns, giant photos of Mosconi, Hoppe and other pool & billiards legends, the players were given hot towels before their matches and everyone looked fabulous in their suits! I really feel like I got to witness pool history in the making, and it was unbelievable to be in a room with so many legends, both old and new. If you can get to one of these events, I promise you won't regret it. Make sure you bring your camera!

While I was there I got a chance to play some pool with CJ Wiley, played one pocket for the first time with Jeremy Jones coaching me on every shot (I couldn't lose!), and I even got to hang out with Marissa Yi and have a few drinks! It was a great time! I put a few pictures up on my player diary if you want to check it out at www.WPBA.com. Marissa also took a bunch of pictures, so one of us will post them up soon.

ps do u ask autographs of famous players? just wondering if a pro would keep autographs of other pro's, or if its only something for pool freaks

Sorry it took several beers to come up to you just to meet you and take some pics. I have a shy side. Nah, it was your beauty. We met at the Backstage Billiards Thursday night. I was with Robb Saez. My girlfriend is now officially addicted to this great sport. Funny all the bartenders were wondering why you looked so familiar and why people were taking pictures with you. I gave them the low down on you. Guess working at a pool hall doesn't mean you know who is who huh? They were impressed by the way. I have some pics that I will post later on today. You said only if they looked good I could post the pics. LOL! If you're in it, it will always look good. Thanks for the memories, Arnold

honestly, i think the picture is very good. u look GEORGOUS arnold :D post us more of these.

nah really, i think Jenn looks better on this picture then on all those made by the profesionals on her site or that ive seen. U look greath naturaly. im not really a big fan of 2inch of makup on someonce face.

If one day ull make it to the IPT, i can give u my service as poolboy to cary your cue :D it seems i look ok in black sute (spelling?)

PS ill be getting some private lessons soon from the only pro player in my country. seems u've met/seen him in vegas Jenn. he was probably doing some promo for aramith balls. his name is Gino Vermeersch. Normally i cant really afford them, but it seems he needed someone to build a new website for him, and i needed a coath. so that worked out GREATH.

im trying to get some sponsers to one day travel to the US, but i know it wont be in any near future. i just started pool 4 months ago, and even if im considered one of the big newcommers and qualified for some finals, i dont got any greath pool achievements yet a sponser would be interested in. If u see there's only 1 pro in my country, u can imagine how hard it is to find a sponser over here. but im motivated, and ill get there one day.

ps id like for christmas a signed 8ball; but ive checked your pics VERY good, and u dont got any beard or red hat on, so guess that will stay a dream. I could just buy one from your site, but then the signed ball wouldnt mean a thing. it would just be something i payed for to get, instead of a real present. aaah so many dreams, but still so many time to realise them.

Hey Solartje...if I'm ever doing an exhibition in Belgium, I promise that I will bring you a signed 8 ball.

Arm9baller...well done on the photo and I'm glad to hear that your girlfriend "has the bug"! Don't let her quit!

ps how tall are u? is it double J that measures 2meters (dont know what this is in inches or feet? 7feet?) or u both just tiny little cute girls?.... :rolleyes:

ps2 deal for that 8ball !! :p damn i love christmas. its like if everyone is happy , and doing nice things, saying nice things, eating nice things, posting nice pictures ...

ps3 Jenn where did u hide that turkey? i cant find it anywhere. :D
