Mystery Masterpiece!

Hello all! It’s been quite a while since I have been in the billiard community, I’m sure I have some great references available if they are needed.

I have a stunning cue made by a little known cue maker, Jim Barkley. A little about Jim, he was a machinist, mechanical engineer, he has patents on machined pieces for NASCAR, he work closely with Ron Haley and Andy Gilbert. Suffice it to say his skills are top notch, if not well advertised. I’ve had a few of his cues over the years and the quality and playability are as good as any. This cue was made in 2001, was selected to be in Brad Simpson’ cue calendar. Cue comes with original maple shaft 12.75 mm, 2 CF shafts, 12.2mm. Materials are all “natural”, ebony, malachite, and 18k gold inlay, unilock joint, 19.3 oz. Jim is long since retired, but I reached out for a value, and it’s significant. I have been around the industry long enough to know it would be a hard sell at the actual value. So, this beauty is for Trade Only. The pictures really don’t capture the beautiful craftsmanship! Hit me up with what you have and might be interested in doing some trading. Thanks!

Sorry Bobpa, it’s been a while for me…

I met Jim Barkley in 1995 in Joplin Missouri (where he built cues) Nice Guy and was a great regional cue maker that built some very unique pieces. Nice Cue.
