Someone just told me that they heard the tournament in Cherry Hill, NJ next month was cancelled. Has anyone else heard this???

I also heard that this event was cancelled due to scheduling conflicts. Someone posted the link here but I'm too lazy to search :D . Guess I have to wait until Oct./Nov....I think...oh well. Hope this helps.

Sad but true Timberly (or was it Rumberly :p ). I just spoke to "Jim" and he said that due to the poor room bookings by the Hilton(guys were sleeping 3-4 to a room), the NJ stop, as well as all Hilton pool events are in the ...well, they're no more. Hilton pulled up because alot of players didn't hold up their end of the bargain i.e. one player per room and you must stay at the Hilton.

That BLOWS! I can see both sides though... that's a week long tourney & those rooms aren't cheap.... Thanks for the info guys!

Yeah-Hilton guys didnt so their homework- Saw that one coming a mile away.

Hilton Should have known they wouldn't fill too many rooms and that's exactly what their focus was as evidenced by the Sun- Thurs tournament schedule, the slowest hotel days.

You would think they would be in it for the long haul and try to get FANS in the rooms as they built the tour, not just players. Fans could be win-win, players no.

Just one more outfit that won't touch pool for the next hundred years as well as others who learn of Hilton's experience.

Wonder who sold'm on it in the first place. That guy must talk pretty good but he actually hurt pool for the long run.
