This is a National Gandy, hand made cue from the 1980s. This was the period when Ricco Cervantes made cues for them, so he may have had a hand in the design but there is no proof he actually made this one. If you look closely at the pictures it is clear that this is hand made and inlaid: points are of slightly different lengths, extremely sharp and diamond pattern at the base end is just a touch irregular, neither of which would be done with current CNC inlaid production. I have highlighted a pair of flaws in the finish, both near the end of the points. No idea what tip is on the shaft, but this is as likely as display and collector item as a playing cue. Shaft measures 12.3 mm. Butt weight is 409 g/14.40 oz, shaft is 119 g/4.15 oz, whole thing weighs 528 g/18.6 oz. 5/16-18 brass pin, with very good fit of the shaft base to the cue butt.
Asking $400, includes shipping in the US. Since I'm a frustrated Canucks fan and my grandmother's family was from Saskatoon, I'll also include shipping to my Canadian friends, but I'll insist on payment in US dollars instead of Loonies or Chuck Bucks. Payment with Paypal, I'll pay the fees so you are protected on the transaction.
