Or do they absolutely suck?
I have both (blue and black) on 2 shafts (came stock) and I absolutely hate them.
For me, they glaze super fast, and I've never miscued as much as I have with them.
I've shaped them from both nickel and dime, changed chalk and even cue balls.
Is it just me? Have others experienced this?
Anyone have any good Triangle tips kicking around they don't want

I have the Naviator Auto Soft on my custom sneaky and like it fine. It did feel a bit mushy at first but firmed up slightly since then. Holds chalk fine and hits fine.

I have tried most tips and always revert back to lepro or triangle. I liked the ultra-skin Ivory's
but still went back to lepro. Lepro has never let me down! I can buy a box of 50 Lepro's for about
the same price of a navigator. Easy choice for me. I have a small lathe and do my own tips and shaft cleaning.

You can get a box of 50 for the same price because that’s how many you need to try to find 2-3 good ones. 🤣

I’ve used Navigator tips for a few years, I don’t miscue at all. They seem like good tips to me.

Tried a black soft, one of the worst tips ive played with. I was playing with layered tips for awhile, only two Ive found exceptional on quality as a brand in all are Zan tips and Predator tips. For how often I change tips and how particular I am about them I went back to non layered tips. There is a little more work in finding the right tips out of the box but for me here is the list of tips ive been enjoying in no particular order, a good Elk master, a good lepro, a good BROWN wb. I also have been experimenting on treating tips ( Milk dudding ) or just plain pressing.

The Navigator Blacks are in my opinion, junk. The original Blue Impacts I never had a problem with. The original Alpha’s were decent, even though they ran a bit on the firmer side. The Automatic soft and medium are ok, but I wouldn’t recommend the XS or the H. Since they’ve redid their Alpha and Blue Impact, I would give all 4 a thumbs up. The Alpha Pro Soft is what I’ve always felt a super soft tip should be. Soft without being mush, and yet it never felt like it like it firmed up. Currently playing with the Alpha Pro Max and it’s not going to get replaced. The Blue Impact Pro Soft is great to start, lasted me and another player about 6 weeks before it started to firm up too much. The Blue Impact Pro Max is currently on a backup shaft, and it truthfully to me feels like a broken in Triangle.

Yes they have some tips that I felt weren’t that great. Overall though, they’re worth a shot just like every other premium brand out there. I would avoid all levels of the XS, no matter which model personally. Just seemed too soft to play.

i have played for ovet 40 years and used triangle tips all of my life and won't wont argue any point ith anyone. i recently recved some tips from an estate sale i tried an naviagtor med and i aboslutely love it.
It's not the tip guys it's the sweet spot of where you are in your game .
words of wisdom " ITS NOT THE ARROW BUT THE INdian"
it's a feel that we all develope and no one should be able to sell you anything you don't need, you already have what you need . if life is good so is your game and with any tip. I won't disclose my identity, however i have challenged the best in the world, and with a house cue , my own money, no backer, and they all refused to play me . In our own minds we are bad. We all have to decide what we want to do in life, live in pool halls making very little for a living or working a regular job taking care of our obligations and going out and enjoying league play , letting out out some steam some stress relief.
I'm not a promoter or anything like that, i'm human,we need to protect our species and all live togther in harmony, no more hate or killing have fun go home love your kids.

I will say one thng i'm going to a tournament in texas in sept and plan to surprise the rest of the pool world , a few out here, in the field, know me , howoever they won't blow my cover, Nick varner, Wirst and Effern will be there im ready and you should be for your next opponent, lol

Bad tips do happen, even among the best brands.
So are these worth the $25? They seem very expensive.I with most of you guys on the original old school solid tips!
Only layered one I brought recently is a Thomas tip. Been on for 3 months, very surprised how precise it plays, for the price thay are!

I still prefer the Moori Hard. It's the real deal for $14.

I don't know the navigator you've used are legit or not. I've used the Blue IMPACT MAX Pro Navigator and it is the best tip I've ever used.

Blue impact soft navigator is also sooo good maybe even better than max pro but its problem is that it could runout very quickly and needs replacement. Oh and also if you put the blue impact soft you need to play with it a bit then fix it a bit on the sides & reshape it just one time then you're good.

It is logical to reshape the tip when its new, at first it will mushroom a little which is not too bad. Then once its compressed enough it will stay for good. But honestly navigator blue impact could be the best tip in the world.
