Need GC I setup in Minneapolis

Looking for best mechanics in the Twin Cities area. Not sure if it needs cushions or not, they appear to be original, no loose spots. Tested before taking down and transporting and they seemed ok, but I'm just not sure what I should have expected. Got 6 rails before it petered out.

Thanks.

The original GC Monarch Superspeed cushions seem to last forever. Mine are original and play great. I consulted with my installer before hand, he said they are usually always good still. Good luck in your mechanic search.

It all depends how/where the table was stored and if you're okay with GCI buckets (5"+). If you want to tighten the pockets, the proper way will require new rubber.

Call Jamie Pluta with Pool Table Guys and he will get you taken care of. (952)212-7665. He is a monster player as well. Tell him Matt Hilton sent you his way.

I had previously heard he was the best. I've left several message, to no avail. Not sure he's still in business. His Facebook page last entry is January. He was pretty active with posts in 2020. Maybe he's got more business than he can handle.

I think there is plenty of pop in the originals, in places at least. Whether it is uniform or not I don't know. If they're original, and I believe they are, they are 50 years old +/- a few years. As long as it's apart, there is a part of me that wants to just have the rails redone now with new cushions. I can do the external refurb myself because it's mostly cosmetic anyway, although if there was someone in town who could do it all I'd probably just pay to have it done. Unlike most commenters on these threads (it seems), I'm not a big DIY guy.

I know he was in Vegas for a tournament and then on vacation with his family. I will try and call him today. Message me your name and number.
