Top part of the jump/break cue butt fell through a hole inside of a pocket into a bar pool table. can't retrieve it by hand through the hole. any solutions?
 
Reach in through any other doors or openings in the table or take it apart. It might help to know what kind of table it is.
 
Don't put your butt into strange holes!!🤣
I couldn't resist.
Hopefully the bar owner can open it up and get it out for you. Or you may have to wait until the next service is done.

It is in fact a solution, maybe not the desired solution but a solution none the less.

Remove the trim and rail bolts and the rails will come off. Have 2 very strong people lift the slate out and turn it sideways.
Do not over tighten the rail bolts when putting them back, 7-8 ft.-lbs is maximum.
