This thread reminds me of a girl I used to date whose father was wood carver by trade, and part-time road player. (See how nicely I dovetailed that in there?) Anyway, she had lost an eye in an accident when she was younger and since their family was poor, her father had carved her a prosthetic eye out of wood.
