Never Trust Someone Else to Turn Off the Correct Breaker

Yeah, someone did that to our electrician at work a few years back - only it was 480V - in one arm and out the other.

Needless to say he was in the hospital for a while, but recovered with only scars on his arms to remind him.

Gotta be careful all the time.

My wife almost killed me

by hitting the wrong breaker. I do not know who was more scared, her or me?
She is way more careful now.

I grew up around an electrician who made his self a multimillionaire in the 70's and 80's building huge housing projects and buying up land all over NC. Anyway I have seen him more than once lick his thumb and pointing finger and go down the rails in a 200 amp breaker box to see if they were all powered up or do the same thing in a bulb socket. I figured we would read about him getting shocked or killed but he is still renting his properties and kicking at 84 years old. crazy old man. Don't try this at home and remember don't mess with something that you can' see.--Leonard
