New APA team style

I was asked last night to join a new APA team format called hot shots or something like that. A three man eight ball taem that plays three days a week? Does anyone know anything about this?

i think i heard something about that years ago. i believe, there are NO handicaps, in otherwords, you could have 3 7's!, but check me out on that. you could always call 1-800-3-rack-em. that's the H.Q. for the A.P.A.

There is a league like that in a nearby town. In that one each team is up to five players, three play each week, and the matches are all a race to five. I believe that the fee is higher and the payout is higher. I also believe that this league feeds into the three player tournament in Vegas that is held at the same time as the regular team tournament. I'm pretty sure they only play once a week, however. Three days a week? Really? I couldn't take that.
