New Billiards in San Francisco

Does anyone know when a new billiards room might open in San Francisco? Why does no one, or no people open a nice modern place to play pool in San Francisco?

Apparently you haven’t been to Baghdad by the Bay recently. The urban environment there is not conducive to any kind of new business.

My guess would be the costs in that market. Real estate, taxes, license and permitting fees, even labor costs are among the highest you'll find anywhere.

Tom's not wrong either and local and state leadership haven't shown any desire to change that.

Sadly, I think you'd struggle to think of a place less conducive to starting a new business.

Don't hold your breath. The sheer cost combined with dealing with the nutjobs that run the place would stop any sane person in their tracks.
