New cloth recommendation

I bought a table from Ebay sometime in February of this year. The table plays well, but the cloth appears to have been used as a dart board. There are tiny holes all over, not to mention the many stains and what appears to be candle wax. Believe it or not, this cloth still plays decently despite looking like a hobo's blanket. I've decided to attempt to replace the cloth myself
1)because I'm on a pretty low budget, and 2)as you heard, I don't have much to lose. After searching and searching the internet, I finally found a comprehensive set of directions for stretching the cloth in the correct order, etc.

Well, let's get to the point. I need a recommendation for table cloth that is around $50 (precut). The brands that I've seen in Ebay for around that price are Titan and Mali. Has anyone heard anything about either of those two brands or can anybody recommend a different brand? I'm an extremely poor college student, and keep in mind that eventually someone WILL spill their drink on the felt (and subsequently get a "beat-down")

Thanks for any help

If your cloth still plays well, I'd recommend leaving it til you can afford to put Simonis 860 on it. The $50 vareity cloth of is apparently what you already have. No sense throwing good money after bad! Tell your buddies who play on the table that you're saving for some professional quality cloth and make it a group project. Put a fishbowl near the table and let the loser of each game throw in a quarter, or a buck, whatever's comfortable. Make it a $.50 penalty to knock a ball of the table. You'll have enough saved to cover the table in a short time and it will be rather painless. The best of all, every one who uses the table can share in the expense. (Assuming there's not a ringer in the group! lol) I've seen this work in a couple of Frat houses in the UC area.

Good Luck

You get what you pay for, obviously. The place I play used to use Mali, which wasn't too bad. It's kind of like playing on the side of a sheep, if that doesn't bother you.

That's a really good idea, makes me wish I would have bought a coin-op table... nah on second thought, that wouldn't have been worth it. The thing is, I can guarantee that multiple drinks will be spilled on the cloth. As many times as I tell people not to put their drink on the rail, people still do it. The thing is, it's not even a level surface on top of the rail  Has anyone had any experience refelting their table themself (besides of course those who do it professionally)? I wouldn't mind replacing it like once a year if it would still be cheaper than buying Simonis 860. I would hate to spring for the Simonis only to have it messed up in like 6 months.
