New cue design, which one should I pick?

I like the second one a lot, just how it is. I'd vote for it, the 1st one is nice but more common looking

I think I have decided on a final version

only would look right with recuts though... not veneers
which makes me worry about what this thing will cost... EEK

I would keep cue the same as in first pic, just add the curly maple to the handle, and you are done.....too much maple in second version....not as classy looking imho
