Recently my father retired from the railroad and needed something to do. So i taught him the basics in cue building. This is one of his latest cues. BEM forearm, 4 mertle wood points and butt sleeve, black w/walnut irish linen wrap. what do you guys think? Sorry about the photos they are off of my cell phone.

Nice

The finish looks really nice from the pics *though they are tiny, need some higher res images...reminds me of a Blud.

Well he is my father and he would do it for me. He has taught me alot in my life. Just glad i could return the favor.

Your dads a lucky guy !

Just curious, what kind of work did your father retire from?

He seems very talented.

Really nice cue.

Well, I guess your dad has a new occupation.

I hope it brings him as much satisfaction that it does to other cue makers.

I think Joel Hercek said," If you love what you do, you'll never work another day in your life".

Maybe this is your dads new beginning?

Best of luck to him, and how proud you must be of him!!!

I am proud of him thank you. He retired from the railroad last august. He is having a great time making cue as i have, and he is learning something new all the time. I guess you can teach an old dawg new tricks.
I also want to thank everyone that has posted and does post these good comments. It really is nice to get good feedback. Again thank you for your posting.
