Cue #6. I could tap for an extension. I would have to make up a bumper assembly that would thread into the tapped butt. Here is a picture that I did it for a customer for the cue I made for him. Right now the bumper is held on by a wood screw. No weight bolt in the cue.Got any more pictures of cue #6? Would you be able to add a tap for an extension in the butt?
Revised my listing with specs and prices. Added another picture view of the cues.Cue #6. I could tap for an extension. I was a design Engineer for 37 years. I pretty much knew what to do I just had to do it. I started building in the 90's. Nobody would show you how to build them. I figured it out by myself. I have done what most cue makers won't attempt and that is to replace a handle on a cue, put it all back together and it be straight again. Nearly impossible. Richard Black is self taught also. I think I have the hang of it by now. LolI cannot believe these Cues are still sitting here, I've got my eye on #2.
Could I ask where your skills were learned?

They are all tung Oil. I choose tung Oil because it water proofs the cues and if you Ding them up you can repair the Ding yourself without having to pay $300 for a refinish. You can steam the Ding out with a damp wash cloth and hot iron then smooth it out with 600 and 2000 grit sand paper. Then re apply tung Oil and you are like new again. Here is my cue after 20 years. Beautiful satin look after years of aging.Hello Ron - I'd like to know the Sheen of your finish?
Is that Tung Oil?
I see the very same satin gloss on rifle stock.
