Yes it is. All 3/8 ×10 joints that I know of are flat faced.

The names of the joints in the order process.

Hi,

I know your shaft is sold already but I was hoping you or someone viewing your post can clarify for me. I was on a waiting list at Seyberts for the identical shaft for awhile. When the call came that the shaft was available I sent them a pic of my cue(s) I wanted to use the new shaft on which are 2017 Tony Guerra's with a 3/8x10 modified pin.

The guy from Seyberts stated their 3/8x10 will only fit a standard pin and in order to fit on my modified pin he'd have to modify the shaft which voids the warranty and makes it non returnable.

From what I read on your post when someone asked about it fitting a 3/8x10 pin whether it was standard or modified you replied it'll support both. How is that possible?

If what you say is true than I could've used the shaft I passed on because I didn't want it modified thus voiding the warranty.

Did you try the shaft successfully on both a standard and modified pin?

I just mentioned to Seyberts what I read in your post and they just replied. They said it will fit both standard or modified, but with the modified pin the fit is very, very tight, something not acceptable to most people. Was that your experience with the fit with a modified pin?

I spoke with Cuetec directly and was informed that they do in fact make a 3/8x10 flat or modified pin version of their Cynergy 15K CF shaft. I have one on order from them now.
