Here are a few pics of some cues I am doing here at J&D Customs. Some are for AZer's here. Thought I would show them as they are coming along to answer alot of the pm's I have been getting. Yes , I do point work. Yes , I do inlay work. I have had lot's of pm's inquiring about me , and just thought this would help.
The 1 quesyion asked the most, Are you new to building? No, I have been building for 16 years now. I have just recently expanded into internet sales to show all my work.
Well, here are the pics.
Thanx to all,
Jim Lee

Yep I would recommend Jim to anyone wanting a cue. He will tackle ANY kind of cue you want. He just doesnt build one cue and force you buy it or he doesnt just put out one style. My cue is the curly maple forearm with ebony point and he will be doing inlay work on it as well on the points and butt sleeve. He's very easy to work with and every time we talk on the phone we talk for hours instead of minutes, just shows you the type of guy he is as well.

I originally went with a birdseye forearm but he seen where I posted I liked curly and he ran across a piece and asked me if I liked it and wanted it on my forearm and I told him hell yea. I dont regret the choice one bit. We talked for about 3 hours last night about my ringwork and the rest was about family and other things in life. He keeps you updated with pics and if he has any questions about your cue you drawn up, etc. he WILL contact you before moving along to stop from doing something you didnt want. I WILL buy more cues from Jim as there is other wood combos I want and he WILL re-do my junk Meucci's because they hold sentimental value to me.

So do like me and draw up a cue and send it to Jim and get a quote. You will like the price and more than likely Jim can do it. I've seen alot of his work and he makes solid cues no doubt. Owners I've talked to said the hit is just as good as the looks so I like that alot:D He has never changed the price on me for any reason and has done everything he said he would, so I cant gripe one bit. I have a thread in the cue review section explaining my experience down to pm's and pics with Jim so be sure to check it out.

Thanx Josh and Dank. Here is another one coming together here in the shop. It has a Gabon Ebony forearm with Tiger Curly point stock. This is a local gentleman's snooker cue of his design. The BURL is here , it's coming !
Thanx to all,
Jim Lee
