New 'dope' for Predator junkies...... the 'Centro'

You can get differing diameter of C8 here in China.

Because you can look up c8 and find all you need to know :ROFLMAO:

What I imagine they are going to do is use the name to differentiate the size in future. I have seen c8 shafts in various diameters here. In fact, two guys I play regularly have 12.4/12.9 c8
I don't know what kind of shafts are in macaroni land, but there is no c8 12.4. Do we need chinese VPN to see the search result? Even if there is, why would it take them over 3 years to come out with the c8 in the smaller 12.4 size?

Lets say they do come out with a Centro 12.9. Then Predator are a bunch of fools for introducing the Centro 12.4 first, and I don't think they are marketing idiots.

Still curious why the C8 never came to USA years ago. The only reason I can think of is that the C8 has that ProV taper. Since the USA market prefers the 314 with it's pro taper over a Vantage with a ProV taper, it probably didn't make any sense. So they redesigned the C8 with a pro taper and gave it a new name for the US market.

The thing that keeps all the fanboys coming back to predator is the lowest deflection aim. There was nothing close in the 314 days, and still nothing close in the CF days.

I’ve tried dozens of other shafts across both eras to try to save money. Keep going back. Not because of any marketing machine. But rather they make the ball with a better aim.
As I said in my post, I don’t get it but e everyone is different and likes what they like. Truthfully, my opinion is a large majority don’t really play well enough to take advantage of the small reduction in deflection, but then again it’s like placebo drugs, what someone BELIEVES can make a change in things. I’ve been playing a really long time and understand deflection so it doesn’t trouble me and in certain situations it’s actually helpful. I’m a believer in whatever you can afford and if it blows your hair back, then so be it. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I kind of thought this and the opposite. Deflection does not matter as much for good players since they know how to adjust and stay consistent to that adjustment with their good stroke.

LD becomes error correction for inconsistent strokes. If it forgives 5% of bad strokes than its probably worth the extra money. IMO. I also believe placebos work better for pool than for drugs.
