Hey guys long time lurker around here first time post. Im a 22yr old college student that has recently gotten back into pool. I used to play alot durring my high school years when i was 13-17. When i went to college i took some time off until now. I called my pops up on day to have him bring my old cue up to my campus apartment so I could hit the local pool halls again with my GF. Well during that process of bringing my cue up some how something fell on it and split the butt in half and I really like that cue which was a nice Stealth cue.
So with that broken I went to the local pool hall and shot around with a bunch of different brands of cues, Joss, Mcdermott, Viking, Poison, and Scorpion. After I hit with all of them I narrowed it down to two brands McDermott and Scorpion.
I ended up picking this Scorpion Cue up at pool dawg.com (btw great service)
Now my question is I picked up another cue to use as a temporay break cue and a cue my GF could play with. i found it at Dicks sports and it was a McDermott for 59.00.... anyone think thats a good deal?
