I recently came across a fun idea for practicing pool and turning it into a friendly competition.
The concept is simple: toss a cue ball and an object ball randomly on the table, mark their positions, roll a dice to decide which pocket to shoot into, and take your shot. One point for a make, zero for a miss, and alternate turns with your opponent. First to a set number of points wins.
It’s a great way to practice random shots and add some excitement to drills.
I put together a short video showing how it works: Dice and Pockets Video Demo . Please take a look and let me know our thoughts.
Has anyone else tried something like this before? How would you tweak the rules to make it even more fun?
