New Predator SE Cues

What does everyone think about the looks of the new Predator SE 22&23 cues? Seyberts have them up now. Yay or nay on the Pechauer inlayed shaft? Just curious, I am a fan of about anything J. Pechauer.

I like Predator shafts but I am not a fan of the new inlaid shafts. I am more of a traditionalist. JMHO

Yea same here. I have one to put in my collection, but not as a player. I think its pretty inventive though

Those cues are WAY to busy for me. I can't see spending that kind of jack on a production cue. I am not a big fan of laminated shafts either. I like a stiffer hit. I don't like that dull thud of the predator.

Inlaid cue shafts are not something new, in fact they have been around since two piece cues first became popular. You can see some examples of antique inlaid shaft cues in the Billiard Encyclopedia.

Today's adhesives / epoxies are far superior to those used in the past, so from a standpoint of structural integrity, modern inlaid shafts should perform just as well as non inlaid shafts.
