well, i bit the bullet and went ahead and bought Predator's new BK1001 Lag cue and thought i'd share my thoughts.

features:
-patented specially designed pro-conical taper (for the closed-bridged laggist)
-sss (seriously super soft) kamui tip
-weighs in at 47ozs
-extra sticky Sport Grip (not sure why)

my thoughts...

-i'm as close to the rail as i've ever been
-sleeping cat logo is hideous
-$1800 price tag is even uglier

Ok, 'nuff said.
