I was wondering if anyone had some advise for me about getting a new shaft made. I talked to mueller and they can make me one for about 80 bucks, i shoot with their sneaky pete so i went there first. would i be better off going to like viking or another name brand place to get a new shaft or do you think mueller would be my best bet. Also I was wondering how good the new shaft will fit. any advise would be helpfull.

I think you can buy a new Mueller shaft - including the butt (stick-on decals and all!) - for less than 80 bucks...

Why spend more on an extra shaft than the cue is worth?
 
the butt has Character and i'd just like to have a new shaft for it. So i was just wondering how good a new chaft would fitt and if i would be better off having mueller make it or go somewhere like viking or another big company.
 
I advise you to send the butt to Mueller's and ask them to fit the new shaft to it. If Mueller's have the butt they can and will fit the new shaft to it accurately. If you still have the old shaft and want to continue to use it, you should send it in also. Better yet--ask Mueller's about this. They made a couple of shafts for me once; the shafts were fine and the repair people were good to deal with.--AS
