Hi Everyone,
I'm new to posting here (been lurking for a while). My wife and I play in a couple of local APA divisions weekly and we're looking to upgrade our old sears table to something that can help us improve our skills for cue ball control. The table is going in our garage and we have enough room to fit a 9' (would be a bit of a squeeze but, it could work).
That being said, I'm not sure I need to go with a 9' table (play mostly 9ball, some 8ball and a very TEENY amount of 14.1 from time to time).
There is a local guy around the corner from our house who has been building tables for quite some time (35 years I think). His company is Admiral Pool Tables. I've been by his shop a couple of times now and he's a very nice guy, usually replaces the tips on our cues when we need them. Seems very knowledgable. That being said, we are a bit new to knowing what to look for and where to look for it.
Does anyone have recommendations for where/what we should go to look for as an upgrade to our lovely, plywood table?
Thank you all!
