Just got back from Vegas... Riding the limo bus home as I type this...

Hope you were not expecting pics yet!

But while I was in Vegas, I bought myself a new 2 me Paul mottey cue...

I guess an early birthday present so to speak..

So keep watch for the pics :)

Boy oh boy..........are you in for a treat when you start hitting some balls........go home & shape the tip......and get ready for a very satisfying sensation when you start pocketing some balls........don't know what style joint your cue has and it may not matter much to you.

I happen to play with one of Mottey's famous piloted ivory joints and all I can say is after you stroke the cue ball, your first tendency is to glance down at your grip hand and you realize that you could feel a backwards feedback from the ferrule thru the wrap where your fingers grip the cue. Shoot a 5' stop shot and you can tell when you hit the cue ball on its sweet spot.......your Mottey cue will confirm that with its feel and even off-center shots that still drop, you'll know you missed the sweet spot on stroking the cue ball because it just feels different.

Look forward to your future posts and congrats on owning a very special cue.
